Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV series. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and received the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. She was raised by her sisters who resided living in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on the television industry by appearing on several National Commercials. The Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role of Chiara an appearance for which she received the film festival's best actress nomination. Television guest-starring roles include How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells, NUMB3RS bones, Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include an appearance as a character on the show Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008, when she joined the crew of the General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. as Dr. Saira Bhata, an specialist in holistic health during the show's second season. Ghanizada was cast in the role of Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
