Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled her home country for the US and was granted asylum to remain. Ghanizada was born to a young age in Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family from two siblings. Ghanizada started her TV career with a role in National Commercials. She was honored with an honorary award for the role as Chiara who was the lead character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. The TV shows she guest starred in are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. Recent appearances included the action-science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). In 2008 Ghanizada became part of the cast for General Hospital. General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as Doctor.
