Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. The woman is Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents moved to the US where they were granted asylum. She is the middle of of two siblings and was born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her on-air camera career by being featured in numerous National Commercials. Ghanizada received a nomination for top actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. She performed the role of Chiara. Her TV guest-starring performances are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells, NUMB3RS bones, Psych as well as Castle. Most recently, she played a supporting character in Blood Shot (2009). In addition, she appeared as an independent comedian in You Only Better 2009. Ghanizada began her career in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Night Shift saw Ghanizada play Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic healing.
