Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her family fled Afghanistan, and sought for asylum in US. Her birthplace was there. She is the middle of of two siblings and was born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada's on-air career began with several National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri's film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate this performance, she received a nomination during the Festival of Cannes for Best Actress. A few of her TV roles include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. She has also appeared in the independent comedy You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 as well as the action thriller of science fiction Blood Shot. In 2008 Ghanizada joined the cast of The General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. Night Shift, Season 2 as Dr. Saira Batra a specialist in holistic medicine. Ghanizada starred as Kelly as the Prada Sales Girl in HBO Entourage from 2009. She was also part of the television pilot Tough Trade by Weeds creator Jenji Kohn and executive producer T Bone Burnett.
