Azita Ghanizada

Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television shows. She is an American actor from Afghanistan from Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her home country, her family moved to America. US. They were given asylum and allowed to stay. Ghanizada is the middle child from two siblings, and born in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada launched her television career with a role in National Commercials. In the Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2004) Ghanizada played the lead role in Chiara the performance of which she was awarded an award for best actress at a film festival nomination. The roles she played on television include How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Bones Psych and Castle. Recently, she had the role of a support actress in the action science fiction movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedy series by independent filmmakers You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was first noticed in 2008, when she joined the team for The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. Season two of Nightshift, she was holistic doctor the Dr. Saira Bastra. In 2009 Ghanizada appeared as Kelly a Prada sales girl on HBO's Entourage as well as joining in the cast of the tv show's pilot Tough Trade from Weeds creator Jenji Kohan, as well as the executive producer T Bone Burnett.
